Demonstrations and Private Lessons

I have been showcasing flame-worked glass demonstrations for over 10 years and I am available for your next event. Demonstrations may be arranged for a single day or multiple to meet your needs. I will travel, setup, and maintain all the necessary equipment needed for the demonstration allowing you to enjoy the event.

Private flameworking lessons are also available that include all tools and materials for you. All you need is a desire to learn this material that has captivated humans for thousands of years.

Demonstration Fees

Daily Fees:
4 Hours of Demonstration:
$400.00
Cost Covers
  - Gases to Operate Equipment
  - Time of Demonstrator
  - Includes cost of Glass Material
  - Fire Suppression

Additional time may be added to each demonstration:
$60.00 for each added hour

Travel Fees:
Mileage rate $0.55 per Mile
Per Diem $50.00 per Day

Private Lessons

Private Flame working lessons may be arranged and feature one on one hands on instruction. All equipment and materials will be provided for you. Classes are available to those from ages 16  to 100! All participants must sign a waiver.

Private One on One Lessons
Introduction to Flameworking (3 hour session)
This class is designed to create a better understanding of working with glass with a torch. We will create a foundation of how to properly weld and fuse glass together with a torch. By using this technique we may expand and create small sculptures of your own design.

-All Materials, tools, and safety equipment provided
-Any skill Level welcome
-minimum 16 years old with guardian signed wavier 

Fees: $50.00 an hour
